Here’s how to turn on the Instant Notes feature of your iPhone or iPad First, add a shortcut to your control center to quickly access your notes app 1. opening it starting a new note just to make a quick note to yourself.
Once you make it to iOS 12 (and you should) you can get to Spotlight search on your iPad swiftly by tapping your Pencil at the top of the screen, waiting an instant, and then dragging down the screen.
